THE POLYGLOT CASE. FastAPI, SQLModel, alembic. The pytest suite is INTEGRATION-ONLY: its own conftest.py targets a live API at localhost:8000 and documents running against the full docker compose stack. Without those services the gate is NOT_RUN, never FAIL. Measured: 9 pure tests pass, the other 15 need the stack. Python 3.12 is taken from its own production Dockerfile, which is NOT reused as the agent image. lint and build NOT_PRESENT. Tests may need Postgres: run a throwaway one, never a hosted database.
